    Default On A General Note

First of all this a very welcome and refreshing change for Jo Public to fight back etc, I love it!!!!!!!

Secondly, before I get my bank statements out and compute with aid of spreadsheets just how much they owe me plus interesticon, I was wondering this...

If after all my efforts, I regain my charges, Can the bank legitimately decide to close my account because I am seen as a troublemaker??

If so, what are the ramifications etc when looking for a new account?

Has this question been aired anywhere??

Not that I'm backing off in any shape or form but it needs to be covered or at least thought about particularly for people who have small incomes etc and where banks these days are so choosey about their customer base etc.

    Regards to all

It is very possible the bank could close your account - bear that in mind, and if I were you open a parachute accounticon in any case...

Read this thread for advice on what to do if you are threatened with account closure because of your actions:

Also read the FAQ section - absolutely essential if you're planning on taking on your bank....

I guess, the answer to your question is 'be prepared'
