Thread: Query in total

My step sister has started the ball rolling with the Woolwich, and has just received her charging history in response to her Subject access request.

At the end, it lists the total as £2480, however when you add all the charges up individually it comnes too £3844.50. She hasn't complained and had any charges returned previously, so the difference isn't because of that.

Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know why this could be? She has sent of the prelim for £3844.50 and we'll see how the Woolwich respond.

It would seem that the woolwich have started sending out these sheets instead of statements if i was you i would ask for the statements you will need them, (unless you have them already) even more so if you want to do a contractual interest claim. If you have added up all the charges use that for the time being, if their total and yours dont match, and your certain of your figures use that. Also if what they are sending out is wrong that may well be an issue for the Information Commissioner , as they have an obligation to supply correct data.

The information they have provided is a brerakdown of the charges we asked for. The detail the date, reason for charge and amount etc. I have used the total we've added up, if there is a query then I'm sure they'll be the first to let us know.
