Thread: Magentis v Halifax plc

Hi, this is my first posting and I have been reading with great interest the threads and FAQs on this subject. In October 2002 the Halifax charged us £1,400 for early repayment of our mortgage when we moved home, we did not realise this until our solicitor advised us after the event. We tried to get the charge waived but the Halifax refused. We continued with another mortgage with them on our new property.
I was looking at Zoots templates which seem to be just the kind of letter we should start with. I will add interest at 8%, which is a tidy sum over the last 4 years or so. Any advice will be welcomed.

Welcome and Good Luck with reclaiming your ERC from Halifax. This site is extremely helpful, so just shout when you need help. I am sure that if you follow Zoots threads you will not go far wrong.
