    Default Magentis v Halifax plc

Hi, this is my first posting and I have been reading with great interesticon the threads and FAQs on this subject. In October 2002 the Halifaxicon charged us £1,400 for early repayment of our mortgageicon when we moved home, we did not realise this until our solicitor advised us after the event. We tried to get the charge waived but the Halifax refused. We continued with another mortgageicon with them on our new property.
I was looking at Zoots templates which seem to be just the kind of letter we should start with. I will add interest at 8%, which is a tidy sum over the last 4 years or so. Any advice will be welcomed.
    Cheers

Sorry, just noticed you posted this thread in other institutions and it should be in the section for Mortgages. You may want to either re-post your original thread there or leave it here. I think you may get more response in the Mortgages Section or Halifaxicon.
