Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights

Hi All,
I have sent the first letter to Barclaycard, requesting my charge details and received the standard letter in return stating that they can only supply back to 2004 and the rest is held on microfiche..blah..blah..
Following Gary H advice, I have sent them a second letter stating that the information Commisioner recently inspected their system and declared it relevant under the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 and that I expect them to return the info I require within 40 days. I have also included a copy of a letter which I took from here. Thank you.
Can anyone who is further down the line from me offer any further advice.
Thanks in anticipation.
Mick
Hi Everyone,
Its been two months now and despite sending two letters to Barclaycard, they have not replied.
Can anyone give us any advice how to proceed now.
Are they within their rights to ignore our request?
Confused...
Jo and Mick
They cannot refuse your request if you've sent them the fee and complied with any ID requests they might have made. Look here at the non-compliance letters and get one off to them. Might also be worth a ring to chase but I'd send the letter regardless of what you're told on the phone.
