    Default Mr Rob v Barclaycard

    I'm well on the way with my Barclaysicon current account claim so i'm going to make a start with there evil twin brother!

    With Barclaycard paying half of the money back before it goes to court are we missing out on a lot of interesticon by them doing this?? Can we stop them doing this??

    You can't stop them (well, you can refuse to accept the payment but that would probably be seen as unreasonable by a court and do you no favours if the case went to trial) paying you money back. What you can do is claim interest based on the full amount to the date the part payment was made then on the balance of your claim from that date.

    Well after well and truely kicking Barclaysicon butt i'll now be focusing all my energy on Barclycard. Still no sign of the rest of these statements so i'll be sending them i nice little reminder

    The rest of my statements came through at the end of last week so i'm sending off my prelim today. I know they came well past the 40 day deadline but i honestly was in no rush. £429 in charges so it should pay for some home improvements. I'm sending my A&L current account charges at the same time.

    Well I got home yesterday to find a letter on the mat for BC with an offer £129.. thank you now it's just the other £300 to go.

    Could someone get me a link to the contractual interesticon spread sheet, I only have a basic card so would i be claiming 24.9%. Is there also a template that takes into account the fact that some money has been repaid?
