Need statements as have a closed account with RBOS Visa card. Thought I would try and be quick and phoned the Customer Complaints number on the back of my old statement to request SAR.
well.....what a dullard I just had on the phone. The guy basically told me it would cost me £5 for 1st 5 statements and then £5 per statement. I explained I was requesting transactions and charges under Data Protection blah blah and max fee they could charge was £10 and he said he could send me notes but there was no details about charges etc!!!! I gave up in the end! You would have thought they would have been well aware of the procedure by now!
Anyway, I have just generated SAR to post tomorrow.....and I have already posted a SAR for my boyfriend for his Visa on 13.12.06. No response yet from them but Im sure they will leave it to the last minute of the 40 days limit.

Story so far....prelim sent 29th Jan, response 16th feb, saying will refund all £20 & £25 charges. Rejection sent 26th feb. Will file for court on 15th March if refund not made.

Nothing received so phoned court as their time is up today. Court are running 5 days behind with daily post but was told to sign judgement and send it in and if they have received anything they would send the judgement slip back.
Signed and ready to go in post tomorrow.

Dont like people fighting on their own I know what its like, till evry one chipped in and for that I'm really gratefull.

Update: They have today agreed to credit my Halifax credit card but will not agree to this card so I am going to apply for a warrant. They may apply for a set aside but hopefully this will be frowned upon as judgement was granted nearly a month ago.
Just waiting for the court to send me info on how I apply for a warrant.
