Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi all, I have been banking with various banks and building societies for many years and have always tried to stay in the black, however sometimes I have become overdrawn and like many people have incurred charges that have often been a struggle to meet. I always believed that these charges were just what the banks could legally charge me and that there was no way for me to challenge them but now I realise that they are charges that these fabulously rich institutions have no moral or legal right to pass on to us. There are many people out there who have incurred these sort of charges and I hope that by taking these steps we may make these banks think again on this question.
Spend a few days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide in the library section. That will answer most of your initial questions and give you an idea of what is involved.
This is a self-help forum and it is important that you do your homework.
If you follow, faithfully, the well-tried and tested procedures that we recommend, you WILL get your charges back.
Good luck.
Regards, Rooster.

Thanks Rooster. Sorry I have not replied before now. I will indeed take your advice and read the FAQs and download the templates. When I am more 'up to speed' on this I will hopefully be in a position to get some of these charges refunded and make a donation to help others in the same position as myself who join this forum.
