Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I would like some advice on this please. Booked a holiday with a company in Greece : Dilos Holiday World and had to cancel due to mother in law going into hospital. Holiday insurance covers this providing there is no refund (unless you can advise otherwise). The company I booked said they would give a refund. (most of my money anyway). Well that was back in July and with countless e-mails and telephone calls promising a refund there has been all kinds of excuses. Not yet received a penny. I contacted my credit card company and apparantly there is a time limit so they cant help. I contacted Dilos asking them to say there will be no refund but they refuse to do this. I have checked this company via holiday truths and they do not have a very good history on refunding your money. Anyone got any ideas where I stand in getting my insurance company to pay up if this company continues to make excuses.
