I'm just about to pursue First Direct. They sent me my statements
very promptly by courier and I have just been through them.
Most of the charges are for £30 "overdraft Fees" which coincide with going over my limit. However, on some occasions I have been charged an "Excess Overdraft Fee" of up to £50 on the same day.
Can somebody please confirm that the "Overdraft Fees" are fair game.
Also, I still have two active accounts with them. What are they likely to do once I hit them with a claim?
