Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi all,
Recived a letter from county court stating my case has been transfered to London Mercantile.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need to do next,
as I seem to be geting different messages depending where I look.
Just sit tight and wait for further directions from the court. This is good news as the courts will ask for disclosure of costs from the bank.
Mercantile Court means that your case has been transferred to a higher court where several (as many as 30) will be heard at the same time. Have a search round this forum and you will find other who have been transferred with you.

Thanks for that,
As advised, I have been looking for info on this site. The recommended introduction to mercantile court guide has lots and lots of pages, which does not cater for my immediate concern and preparation.
Would you know if I am required to contact the Mercantile Court to request a case management conference?
Am I able to and should I send to mercantile the new allocation questionnaire that is now recommended as my claim was filed some time ago - If so is there a template-?
Will I require the recommended “court bundle” for mercantile?
You do not need to contact the court to request a case management conference unless directed by the court.
You do not need to send a new allocation questionnaire unless directed by the court.
You will need to prepare your court bundle, but doubt that it will ever get there as the banks paid up at the 11th hour on the last Mercantile hearing. If you go into archive at the bottom of the page, then bank template letters, you will find everything you need to know on court bundle there.
