Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just got all my statements for this account, and to say the charges are confusing is an understatement, they vary from month to month for similar 'offence'! There is also some charges for non-payment of £2 - should I claim for these, as they do seem reasonable! (never thought i'd hear myself saying that!)
Claim for every charge. At the end of the day, its your money. If there are some charges that you dont understand, or not sure if its a charge, you can always ring their customer services and ask for an explanation.

I know what the charges are for, they were for late payments, would it be unreasonable of me to claim for a £2 charge though? Think most people on this board would agree the banks have every right to make a charge for what it actually costs them, £2 sounds about right?
