Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
In bit of a quandry. I want to claim bank charges back from Royal Bank of Scotland but I have an outstanding student overdraft of £1500 with them.Should they decide to close the account and ask for immediate repayment of this, I would be unable to pay.Is it worth me waiting until I can pay off the overdraft? I have already taken a bit of a risk by starting a claim against Sainsbury's credit card, owned by RBS.
I am almost at the end of settling a claim with HSBC credit card but they froze my current account without any warning, so I know from experience all the tricks our chums might use.
Any advice appreciated and good luck all!:?
