    Default Me Vs Nationwide

    Hi,

    I sent off my S.A.R and received a copy of all my statements and sent of my PRELIM on the 2nd of Jan with a claim of £1952 which is just from the last 3 years, im waiting to hear back from them hopefulyl soon.

    In the mean time can anyone answer my question - Nationwideicon say in general that when I opened my account I would have signed in the terms and conditionsicon that they could charge me this money for returned DD etc.. is that true?

    Any charge which is more than the actual cost of a breach of contract is unlawful. They cannot enforce a condition which is against the law.
    Just stick to your timetable. Don't let them intimidate you. You'll get your charges back. Keep us updated on your thread.
