I am at the stage where I am going to have to register my claim at a court, however, my claim will be for £4250, can anyone give me the definitive advice how to claim for this ammount in Scotland, I have been searching the site and cant find out what to do!!

Hi, i'm also in Edinburgh and in the process of getting my charges back from BOS. You can claim up to £1,500.(Summary Cause). The forms are almost identical the difference being when the court return your claim papers to you ,you have to get a sheriffs officer to serve the claim, this does not cost that much, somewhere between £12 and £45.I won my first claim against Bos, I went small claims(£750) But my second claim is Summary Cause(£1,500).I am claiming back about £6,000 but will have to split it into a number of seperate claims, takes longer but I will still get my cash back. I will have to claim one at a time.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
Scott.
