Can I Still Reclaim If....

Hi to all,

Am I able to reclaim my bank charges from the Abbey icon

even if the account is closed?? The statements are still within the six year period, but I am
unsure and as yet have not found any info as to wether or not I can still relaim? Has anyone else reclaimed on a closed account?

Perhaps someone could advise me or point me in the right direction.

Yes you can - makes no difference. Alot of people I read about have closed accounts and moved onto another Bank.

FWIW

I have a number of claims and a couple settled, all are closed accounts, I have obtained statements and info which is over 9 years old and am pursuing them all.

If you don't have statements then serve the relevant bank with a Subject access request icon

and the tenner and wait till they send the statements.

There is a step by step guide and a FAQ section which will fill in a lot of details.

Start your own thread in the relevant bank threads and post your info and questions there.

Yes you can!.
I'm in the process myself. I'm at the L.B.A Stage.
Have a good read up on the faq's and get going. Make sure you have another account at the ready mind!.
