Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have started the reclaiming of my wife's bank charges (which date over a period of 5 years) and my proceedings started in late September 2006. I started off by writing to them and asking for a list of charges on the account, which they replied to and submitted. I then wrote a letter asking for it back, which they also replied to (although only to tell me to go and whistle), I then sent them the "letter before action" which they ignored. Then I proccessed the online court claim, I am at the stage now where I have submitted the allocation questionaire, and my last piece of information I need to gather is my Court bundle. This is where I fall short. I cannot seem to work this out in as far as not knowing what to include or what to do. I have until tomorrow to sort this out as it has to be with both the courts and the solicitors acting on behalf of Lloyds.
I know I have left this really late, and I would be so grateful if someone could help me out on this.
So If there is anyone that has already done this could you please step forward and hopefully I can get back what is RIGHTFULLY my wife's.
I must admit that I am starting to panic, and I don't want to put my wife through the stress of a court apearance.
thank you for such a quick response, is this something you have filled out before and if so is it straight forward. (to be honest i'm a bit of a dumbo when it comes to things like this.)
many thanks,
Ps, would i have to include everything that it mentions?, do I need to edit any of it? sorry for the questions but I need to be 100% spot on with this. many thanks again
I wondered this as well when I saw the court bundle, for example, what if you dont have all your statements - like my joint account fore example, i got all my details of charges online... (unless i printed them out of course, then id have them... dur)
i have sent my court bundle in, the first page tells you what you need to put in, you need all the correspondence between you and Lloyds, plus statements plus list of charges, just print everything else out,
on one page there is a list of two links you need to go onto these links and print the info out then put them into your court bundle as stated in the contents page,
its not hard i promise, if i can help anymore let me know
