Got six years worth of statements in an enourmous envelope from my branch this morning, just called up and asked for them, said they would charge me £10, as im overdrawn anyway they cant! They will probably add the charge next month or take it now and charge me £30 referral charge for the pleasure!
Nothing showing on the account yet though.
Added up the charges and it is over £3000.

Got the usual 'go away, our charges are legal and transparent' letter the other day, have now sent the next letter off, gonna have to change the amount of the claim tho, i got a few more charges now!!!

Sent the letter threatening court action, giving them seven days to comply, havnt heard anything yet, (they had until today), popped into the local county court on my way to work to get all the forms and leaflets i could, they were most helpful, dont think they like banks either!! Going to start filling them out in the morning.
On a happy note though, had a call from a friend today, she got a full refund from HSBC after just the first letter!!!! I was really pleased as she is getting married a week on saturday, is she the first person in history to get a wedding present from their bank?!!!!

After the usual 'go away' letter, have now filed my claim with the local court, took a while as I had to find the 120 quid, have had a letter from the court telling me that cobbetts are filing a defence, I think they have until the 20th of October to do so from what i can work out, expecting a letter from them any day now!

Had Cobbetts dfefence drop throught the letterbox today, there was no form requesting further information though, other people seem to get this with their defence, is this normal? Or does it come seperatley?
Is there anything i need to be doing now or do i just wait for correspondance from the court?

Got a letter from Cobbets, they have offered me £2200, they know where they can stick that!!! Letter accepting it as part payment going in the post today.
