Default Some Advice Please Re: Lloyds

Hi, I just wondered if anyone could offer some advice. Basically, we had a few bank accounts and loans with Lloydsicon a few years back and we fell into financial difficulty. Suffice to say lloyds did nothing to help in our hour of need!
TBH, I am so completely confused with what we owe them that I'm not sure how I stand with reclaiming and S.a.r.'s etc.
For a start, the accounts are over 6 yearsicon old so do they have to supply relevant info. Also, we are paying Sechiari Clark and Mitchell (lloyds solicitors) £125 per month for a debt of approx £16,000 (made up of loans and overdrafts- I think). We also got a CCj for approx this amount, does this mean we're too late to do anything?
We are just starting to get things sorted this year financially for the first time ever and would love to get some sound advice.
    Any help very much appreciated
    Lisa
Also don't have relevant account numbers as it's quite a while back.

    Hi Lisaf.
Basically you can claim back charges for up to six years. Beyond that it becomes statute barredicon. To get your account numbers write to the bank giving your name and address(es) that applied at the time the accounts were active, date of birth and copies of any utility bills with your details printed on as proof of identity.

Spend a few days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide in the library section. That will answer most of your initial questions.
Start your own thread in the Lloydsicon TSB Forum and post any questions and progress reports there. Then we can tailor any advice you need to be relevant to your claim.

    Good luck with your claim.

    Regards, Rooster.

    Hi Lisaf.

Sorry. you're already in the right place.

Just blame it on a "senior" moment plus an excess of 12year old single malt.

    Right,
I'm ready to pick up here again! It's only taken me almost 2 years but hey ho!
As it's been over the 6 yearsicon I know the charges are now statute barred (God I wish I knew about this site then)!
They have totally stitched us up over this little lot so is there anything at all that can be done?
Is a set-asideicon out of the question?
    Any advice very gratefully received!

Did you send the SARicon? Do you now know what you are paying Sechiari Clark and Mitchell for?

Hi Rory - yes i sent the SARicon last week (i think) and nothing back as yet but then it is over the 6 year threshold?
Haven't paid SCM for some time now, we did have a court order for 100 per month but we just haven't had that money for the past few months. I know it's only a matter of time before they kick off again.
    Many thanks

Although the accounts are over 6 yearsicon old they would still need to hold account information in terms of what you are actually paying them for. They will have information going back for at least the last 6 years, many companies keep records for a lot longer than 6 years.

Have you asked for a copy of the agreement for the loan?

    Are you a homeowner?

Hi Rory, sorry for delay in replying. I haven't cca'd the loan but i will do, although wouldn't the SARicon cover that?

Only if you asked for a copy of the agreement as part of the SARicon. Did you do that?

Also, most of this debt is very likely to be made up of charges. Desperate to get some justice on this and pray i've not left it too late!

Ideally you should have sent it to Lloyds. However Iqor have a duty as Lloyds agent to deal with it so it should be fine.

    Hi All,
right, finally rec's a response from iqor. All they sent over the weekend was a bunch of screen shot copies of activity (not much) on the account only going back to 2008 sometime.
So what do I do now? And is it worth trying to get this set asideicon (although it was a few years back now) on just the info that they have/haven't provided?
    Many thanks
    Lisa
