Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
A Barclays spokeswoman explained that fees were 'not on the radar'. When pressed further she conceded that the bank was not able to commit to Free Banking for a definite period but that there were 'no immediate plans'.
Has anyone heard of this action actually being put into practice yet?
Looks like there will be a lot of people shopping around for a new bank if this becomes the norm.
I heard a rumour, scurrilous i might add, that Free Banking existed.
Its a myth always has been and always will be.
The only issue now is when the banks have to stop charging these unlawful charges how they will recoup the lost profits they generate now.
