    Question Re: Dubliner10 v FD

Cheers Rooster. One final question for anyone out there (well for today anyhow). Our a/c with FD was closed about 18 months ago, and we are now repaying a debt to them (via debt collectionicon company) by debt managementicon Plan. Is it likely that FD could choose to get shirty any decide they no longer wish to accept the dmpicon (through Payplan).

Sorry for the delay... the server went down.

It is always possible, but it might be worth posting this question in the Debt and bailiffsicon forum as they have had more dealings with debt managementicon schemes.

Typical, nothing I have ever posted has been lost in the post before. I sent my SARicon by 1st class recorded on the 29th Dec and when I checked on the internet it still hasn't been delivered, yet the BOS SARicon has been delivered. Bloody Royal Mail. Going to wait a week and send another.

Have my statements - arrived today. Without adding the 8% interesticon - they owe me over £3000 (robbin gits!) that according to the spread sheet is over £4500inc. 8% when they no doubt push it as far as the court stage.

Am I right in thinking I next send a letter before actionicon (LBA)? and see what reply I get?

    Hi all,

Have sent Prelim off, and starting to get a bit twitchy. Does anyone else owe FD money. We owe them money for an OD and loan when we left the account, and I'm a bit nervy about what they'll do if it goes as far as the court stage.

Haven't heard diddly from FD. Mr lbaicon looks like he needs to pay them a visit on Thursday.
Just did a quick tot up of our Nationwideicon a/c and as the computer sattements only go back to Nov 04 I have found £1800 so far!! so another three and a bit years should be interesting when I send an SARicon for them.
    :o

    Smile Re: Dubliner10 v FD

Oooooh in the nick of time. A tad excited. Had a letter today offering £1615, when I am claiming £3XXX. The are rejecting my claim for Recall Fees (which exceed £1700).

"I note you have included Recall Fees totalling £XXXX. In circumstances where you have authorised a payment that would, if met by us, lead to your account going overdrawn or to exceed a =n agreed overdrafticon limit, we have to consider whether to make this payment......". I take this is a standard stalling tactic.

Am I right in thinking I should reply accepting the initial offer in part settlement, amd proceed with my lbaicon as well?

The money is tempting, but if they push it as far as court it would be £4800 with 8% interest.
    Any advice gratefully received.

    Dub

Thumbs down Re: Dubliner10 v FD

    Royal mail .....aaagghhhhhhh!!!

Sent lbaicon and letter rejecting offer on the 2nd Feb (5 days ago!) by 1st class recorded. Just checked on Royal Mail website - nothing!!
Same thing happened with SARicon and Prelim. Only way I know they received mail was by their reply.
Just have to wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks. The prelim I posted to Bank of Scot was posted on same day wasn't delivered until today - 5 days first class.
    Unbelievable aren't they!

Another partial offer! They've offered me a figure £1600 short of the sum I am reclaiming. An increase of £200 on the last offer.

I am due to file a claim at court on Wednesday. God ....turning down £2000!!

Just to let you know as our time lines are similar. I received a full offer today, an increase of about £900 on the figure offered to me last week. Stick with it, they will crack.
