Hi everyone, found this site a few weeks ago and was amazed to find out that I could claim back my bank charges, I also watched the money programe which gave lots of advice and was a really interesting watch. (I suprised myself lol). Anyway rang Halifax 4 days ago to ask for statments, paid £5 and they were all here this morning. I was shocked to see that over the past 6 years i've paid £1196.00 in charges, Now I want it back, do you think that they will pay me all or most of it, or will they be more likely to want to take things further??? any help will be very much appreciated .
Halifax will settle in full once you have filed a claim. They will acknowledge and then settle. They have not yet gone as far as filing a defence.
Just follow the guidelines step by step.
