Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am just away to start court proceddings (summary clause) for £1055.
They have ignored both my letters and phone call.
I am still a bit unsure how to work out the additional 8%
I am having problems with the spread sheet and was hoping someone can explain
Thanks for the reply...I am not sure if i add 8% on to the total (1055) or do i need the daily rate of interest for each specific charge and then multiply that by the amount of days since the charge??
Well......I've just been looking through vampire's spreadsheets and they seem to have changed a great deal since I used them, will take me some time to understand the chages now.
Depending on which spreadsheet you used to calculate your charges, it should have an extra section that calculates the 8%. If you haven't I would advise visiting Vampiress' chamber of spreadsheets and find an advance spreadsheet that calculates the 8% and transfer your workings to there.
