Default Branch in Edinburgh but I now live in London...

    Hi there

I've sent my prelimenary request and after 14 days have had no response, so I'm preparing my lbaicon today.

My question is, what is my next step if I need to go to court? My account is held at a branch in Edinburgh but I have been living in London for the last 2.5 yrs. Do I follow the Scottish or English small claims law?

If I have to follow Scottish law, I'd be grateful for some advice as I'm having trouble finding the relavent info on the site. If I need to complete the MCOL website, I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know which English address I should use for RBSicon.

Thanks in advance to the forum adminicon and contributors for such an excellent site!

Follow English law as your address is in England. I used my branch address, where did you send the letters to?

Hi, I live in Edinburgh and had to go through the Scottish Small Claims Court. I think if you have an English address, you can claim online, and for more cash than you can in Scotland. The contact details I have seen on the site for England are Kay Stainbridge...RBSicon Litigation...1 Princess Street....London...EC2R 8PB. Have a look in the RBS contact details above your thread.

    Best wishes.

    Scott.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.
If in doubt, you should seek the opinion of a Qualified Professional.
