Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have filed 2 claims with RBS - one for £315 for a business account and one for £3091 for my personal account.
I have only sent away the prelim letter, but this morning received a letter offering the full £315 for the business account (nothing about the personal account). Obviously i'm happy to accept this, but they want to pay it into the account, but as far as i know the account doesn't really exist, as both accounts were well over the overdraft limit, they put the total of the two accounts together and transfered that amount to their collections dept - which I now pay £40 a month to.
So can I ask that the money is given to me by cheque?? First xmas with my wee girl, so could really do with the cash!
