Hi all,
im a bit worried here,i've filled in the court papers but was worried if i went ahead could the bank claim the money i owe them for my mortgage.ive had mortgage arrears before but now im totally clear but i still have a mortgage with the Bank of Scotland.could somebody help me please, cheers
If its any consolation I have a BOSmortgage, bank loans, credit card and 3 accounts in the past. I still have BOS mortgage and will be claiming for charges levied against that too. It would be very difficult for them (if not impossible!) to close your mortgage account if it has no arrears. Even if it hard arrears mortgages are governed by CCA and they just cant close them willy nilly. Dont worry and dont let that stop you claiming what is rightfully yours.
It makes me really mad when people are worried about claiming what is rightfully theirs. HBOS have just announced record full year profits and you can bet your bottom dollar that most of that money comes from people who are probably living in poverty paying their charges. It makes me sick.
You go for it and get every single penny you are owed. If they start to threaten you then come on here for support. There will be a way around it!!
