Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
This is how far we have got.
S.A.R - (Subject access request) sent and denied
40 days is up (but have since found thread on commisioners report so sending new letter.) lba sent and time up.
£132 refunded by Barclays out of the blue. (Not even a quater of what is owed)
Moneyclaim form needed to be filled in. Here is where I get stuck. I can do most of it except where I have to describe my case as I also want to claim for damages.
How do I do this? Is there a template for this letter and can I add this to the moneyclaim form? I like templates as I am not that good at writing letters and filling in the moneyclaim form.
My boyfriend telephoned barclaycard yesterday to ask for the missing statements in light of the commisioners latest release and after a lot of back and forth the statements are now in the post.
Today he also got a phonecall from Barclaycard solicitors a Mr Adrian Worley who wanted to know where my boyfriend was getting his information and was it this site? He also stated not to bother asking for compensation as Barclaycard has no intention of giving any for SAR that have not been answered within the 40 day limit.
Has anyone else had a solicitor call them out of the blue?
