:o I have just had another letter from Nationwide re my charges, they credited my account a few weeks ago for the amount of £270.00 which i was quite surprised about but them i decided to persue for the full amount of £511.20, i have had loads of letters from them saying they are looking into the case, but this morning as i have said i have had a letter saying that NO they have given me XXXX and that's it, so i have written a letter tody asking for the full amount plus to my horror another £110.99 of charges added to my account this morning for 2 direct debits last month, i cannot believe them. I have also requested a claim form from the financial Ombudsman and will go to my local magistrates court this afternnon for a claim form, has anyone had any joy, when they threten court action?

Have you followed the process as outlined on this site? (read FAQ section if not sure) - it's not clear from your post what steps you have actually taken so far. I take it you are meaning county court and not magistrates court? You don't need to go through the financial ombudsman either, just follow through the process as outlined in the step by step guide in FAQ: preliminary letter, letter before action, county court claim...
proceed with your claim including new charges and minus what theyve already paid you..they tried the same with me in feb..and i have this week recieved settlement in full £2000 + its your claim..you make the shots not them,dont let them try to bully you,just stand by your principles and get YOUR MONEY! back...think of it as a loan that you gave them and now your calling it in..WITH interest!
