    Hi Lilo and welcome,

I personally wouldn't use anyone else - why give them 25% when you have all the info available for free and can do it all yourself...it would be no different to doing your own personal account. I also don't trust the promise of them getting it within a month as they would have to go through the same process. Do it yourself, keep the money

I would be interested to know how they can guarantee you your money within 1 month. What do they know that we don't?

Is the account they'll deal with your Barclaysicon account?

What ever they get back could be the 50% offer that most Barclays customers get. I bet they won't take it to court on your behalf for a 25% take. The 50% offer is normally made after writing 2 letters (prelimary & lbaicon).

Its up to you, but I wouldn't settle for anything than 100% of your money.

No way should you use someone else.
I didnt have a clue before i came here (still havent really!)
But im getting there, and so have many more before me!!

    THE STORY SO FAR:

    ~Asked for my Statements: 2/10/06
~Got them within 14 days (fair play)
    ~Asked for the money back:18/10/06
~Computer said no!!!! (not all of it anyway)
    ~Rejected the (crap) offer (£570/£1300): 11/11/06
    ~Computer said Hell no!!!!

~Barclays said I can go to court if I want (like they've got the balls to go that far!)

    ~MCOL done 29/11/06
    ~Barclays acknowledged: 18/12/06
~AQ received, filled out and returned: 4/01/2007
    ~Court date set for 28/03/2007

Cant help thinking that soon, Barclays might have to have a go with a test case.... Hope they dont choose me!!!!

Small (SORRY) donation given, cos i reckon i might win in the end, and without you guys i would never have started this process!!: 16/11/06

Lilo, please try not to panic, there is plenty of help available on this site, and remember, we all started out as novices...I was so unconfident when I started, but with the help of this forum and the fab peeps on here, I've been able to start several claims, of which two are settled (albeit small claims).

Just take your time, read lots (especially the faqs) and as and when you need help, put a post on this thread, as people will always be around to help.

    Good luck

Find out up to what stage this company will act for you.

If they say "We handle everything right up to filing a claim with the county courticon" then all they will do is write a couple of letters on your behalf. Something which you can do easily with the help from this site.

How did you find this company? Have they a website we could view?
