All,

Please could you advise the first steps I must take to get a claim started against RBS, who are based in Scotland under the Scottish legal system.

My claim for charges easily runs up to about GBP 5,000 and I know the Scottish Small Claims maximum is GBP 750. How can I claim for the full figure - or do I have to do it in stages i.e. keep taking them to court 6 or 7 times over?

Please please advise as I urgently need to kick off this process and would really appreciate your help........

Ca anyone advise me - if the bank owes me several thousand (say 4 or 5 thousand) - how do I claim this: do i submit several £750 claims all at once or only one at a time - please do advise on this as this bit I'm confused on........

Also if my branch, being RBS, is in Edinburgh - is there any way at all I can claim *effectively* in England where the small claims limit is much higher and things are a bit more straightforward.....

I'm a bit nervous - as i noticed the amounts successfully claimed against Scottish banks are quite a lot lower than their English/ Northern Irish counterparts.....
