Hi and welcome to the site,

You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the templates libraryicon as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

All the best in your claim!!

Steve, I hope you sent it to Bishopsgate or Customer Relations unit at Borehamwood. They deal with everything related to penalty charges

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they will pass it on if need be. In my claim I sent both the prelim letter and the lbaicon to my local branch, and it still resulted in me winning my claim.

A lot of people are saying that they are not receiving any sort of offers through their claim. I actually received three, one after the prelim, one after the lbaicon, and one after filing my claim. This may be because I sent my letters to my local branch and they tried to deal with it internally.

You now need to send them the lbaicon which can be found in the templates libraryicon.

Local branch would or should have been sent directly to Natwesticon Customer Relations, Borehamwood. If you are going the MCOL route make sure you use the Bishopsgate registered office address on your claim form for who you are claiming from.

Can't help you regarding MCOL as I submitted my claim via the N1 form (which I would personally recommend as you can detail your Particular of Claims more thoroughly that definately helps!). Regarding the Natwesticon Address, send it recorded (always!) to

    National Westminster Plc
    135 Bishopsgate
    London
    EC2M 3UR
