Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Thinking of sending this to Ikano legal counsel as they have not paid settlement as promised.
Payment was supposed to be by 28th Novmber. Still no payment 7 days later despite an acknowledged reminder.
Any thoughts or comments?
Dear Miss PGTips,
To date, I have still not received payment as stated in your email of 21 November 2006.
This is unacceptable.
If I do not receive payment by Friday 8th December 2006, I will be writing to Leeds county court informing the Court of the promise by, but failure of, Ikano to pay. I will also be requesting that the case be transferred to the Mercantile Court. The case can then be dealt along with concurrent cases already transferred to said Court. If such a transfer occurs, I will be seeking full disclosure of costs with regards to the penalty charges.
No. I have not informed court yet until cleared funds are received.
But i have it in writing.
AQs submitted but thats as far as it goes. It will probably be transferred to Mercantile anyway by Leeds CC.
