Do you mean an actual court hearing date or the 28 day deadline for responce to the Notice of service from the court?

I am not at this point yet but look at point 7 here:
    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...tructions.html

    seems that all is well

    "The bank will now either....
    A) Ignore the claim completely - they can claim incompetence as the reason for not Acknowledging or defending and you win by 'default' after 14 days. You will need to apply for a judgment which you should do as soon as the time limit has expired.
If they get a defence in before you apply for the judgment, then they gain the right to proceed into court if they want."

Hi, What did you end up putting for the decree as craved:-? ? Did you ask the court for advise? I put my request for judgement in today so hoping to hear fairly soon. Will watch your thread to see what happens next! Good luck! x

Hi Mate, I had a similar experience with A&L, they just ignored my letters. I sent an e-mail to richard.pym@alliance-leicester.co.uk to make him aware of the situation and had a reply within 24 hours to say a full refund was on its way and the cheque arrived the next day!
