    Wink Me vs. Woolwich/Barclays

    Hi Guys

Getting there - well at least I have had an offer from Barclaysicon albeit £1000 for a claim of £5500. I'll just grab it and run huh!!!! Seriously, some people say take the offer (but not in Full and finalicon settlement) and then start court proceedings for the rest and some people say reject the offer completely. Which is the best way to go please?

Write a letter saying you'll accept the offer as partial payment.

    This will help.

Thanks very much for this. Just getting a bit confused but with people's help I (like everyone else) will get there in the end.

Lucky ol you , Barclaysicon never made me any offer. Its at the court now and they have until this thursday to respond either way. They done seem to want to talk to you , I had no response to my latter letters just the first two , after the lbaicon they never answered any other letters. If only they were to pay up before this stage they could save them selves thousands because once you get to the court stage you can add your extra 8%. Idiots.......
