The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Getting there - well at least I have had an offer from Barclays albeit £1000 for a claim of £5500. I'll just grab it and run huh!!!! Seriously, some people say take the offer (but not in Full and final settlement) and then start court proceedings for the rest and some people say reject the offer completely. Which is the best way to go please?
Fired up!
Bunglebin
Lucky ol you , Barclays never made me any offer. Its at the court now and they have until this thursday to respond either way. They done seem to want to talk to you , I had no response to my latter letters just the first two , after the lba they never answered any other letters. If only they were to pay up before this stage they could save them selves thousands because once you get to the court stage you can add your extra 8%. Idiots.......
