Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have already sent the preliminary letter but I only claimed for unpaid dd/cheque charges and interest, however after reading throught the posts I think I can also claim for the £28 monthly maintenance charge, is this right? and I can I still claim it after sending off the prelim letter, also when I asked for my statements they only sent them upto October, can I add on Novembers charges. Thanks any advice greatly appreciated.
If you have been charged for going over your agreed limit then you can claim that back, but you can't claim back the Royalties fee that is usually mixed in with it.
