Big success!! After 2 letters setting out their reasons for not stumping up the cash, received a letter today offering £2823.00 in full & final settlement which is the full amount in respect of excess overdraft fees. Intrestingly enough, I was previously sucessful in 'persuading' HSBC to stump up the full £60 in credit card charges owed to me for the 2 years I've held the card with them (they initially offered £30 but I knocked that back). In my last letter to First Direct which of course is part of the same organisation, I pointed this out & queried their somewhat arbitary policy of determining when to pay up! What do you know, they change their mind & I'm quids in!! If anyone wants copies of my template letters then let me have your e-mail\addy & I'll send them on. Thanks a lot CAG. Keep up the good work.
