How have other people handled the Mcol details after they have recieved a goodwill gesture?
I was owed £302 before interest, then the Alliance and Leicester credited my account with 4 £25 credits last month which has really confused me.
I have filled in the "From claim date with statutory interest" spreadsheet which applies the 8% interest for all the charges I have had totalling the £302. How do I allow for the £100 credit from the bank. Do I put it in this speadsheet or just mention it in the MCOL details?
The last 3 were for £25, but the one before that was £34. So I'm assuming that I just change it to £9. When I do that the basic value owed is then £202, with interest of £22.67 it becomes a total of £224.67.
Thank you for your help - it's very much appreciated.
