Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Unable to find my original thread on this subject I have started a new one.
Today I have received the usual partial offer from Barclaycard following a lba, stating that they are sorry I find the charges 'UNFAIR' I never said they were unfair, what I did say was they were unlawful. They go on to say that they believe their charges to not only be fair but also transparent - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
I will of course accept the partial offer and go full steam ahead with a MCOL. At least I now have some money returned before xmas!
I will keep you all posted.

Re: DS v TRANSPARENT BARCLAYCARD
Unbelievable!
Read this, the Information Commissioner have told Barclaycrud they are in breach of DPA and to comply with SARs and are encouraging those microfished to persue Barclaycrud for damages.
I wonder if we should include this action in with our action to reclaim charges etc?
