Default B.O.S. You have 30 Days to close your account

Just received a letter from the Bank of Scotlandicon where I have had this account for over 25 years!
    ......................... ......................... ......................... ....
I refer to the above account and write to advise that due to unsatisfactory conduct, the bank would now look for this account to be closed.

I would advise that the bank will cancel any chequebooks, standing orders, direct debits and Keycard access on the account. Please note we are now providing you with 30 days notice to arrange alternative banking arrangements. In the event that we do not hear from you within this timescale the account will automatically be closed and any credit balance repaid to you by cheque................... ......................... ..........

Wonder if this has anything to do with me taking them to court last month!

    Anybody with any suggestions ?

    Hmmm,

Might be time for me to open that new account

Hoped they wouldn't be doing this for customers reclaiming unfair charges, but from what I've read they are entitled to give you notice to close your account

    Onwards and upwards I say

This is the first time I've seen BOSicon doing this. Is it a business account ?

Ah, yes, it's a business account (as shown in maroon's sig). Does that make any difference? I suppose this might be a bit more significant if it's a business account that is currently being used! Suppliers and debtors of the business will all have to be advised of the bank changes etc. 80
