Default tweaky vs Royal bank of Scotland

    Hi everyone,
    my efforts so far:
12 November:- sent first letter, together with a spreadsheet detailing the charges incurred over the past 6 yearsicon, to both the Branch manager and Customer Relations.

17 November: - received what appears to be their standard "get lost" letter; charges reasonable, OFT relates only to credirt cards etc.

By the end of this week, the lbaicon will be sent , again politely suggesting they pay-up.

I'll update as and when events happen.

    regards to all

    Hi everyone,
    here is the latest information.

Despite getting the standard "get lost" letter from the Customer Relations Unit, the infamous Mr Tommy McLean, on 27 Novemeber I received a letter from the Branch manager offering as a goodwill gestureicon, the sum of £1430.

This is 25% of the amount being claimed.

Today, 4 December, sent a reply to the Branch manager decline their offer. Also sent the lbaicon letter to Tommy and his pals, including another copy of the spreadsheet detailing the amounts being claimed, and enclosed a copy of the letter to the Branch declining the offer.

Now in "wait mode" and also about to calculate the interesticon I will claim when I submit the claim to the Court.

    Another update as and when

    Regards

    tweaky

    Hi everyone,
an update, as promised, on claim No. 1

The Christmas holidayicon period passed without incident, however, letters from RBSicon dated 3 Jan and 8 Jan acknowleding our letters of 4 and 21 December, both RBS letters thanking us for our patience and they are investigating and would respond as soon as possible.
All well and good - wrote to RBS giving them a definite cut-off date and sent e-mail to same effect.
No response from RBS, so claim submitted to the Court last week.
    Awaiting hearing date.
More to follow as and when
