Thread: Olly5814 Vs Barclaycard

I have been reading several post about the micro file rubbish! However i have a problem that i have been unable to find on other posts.

I have sent my SAR off and received the usual standard responce that they do not have my statements - however i closed my account with barclaycard in 2004 when there filing system changed. So i am currently unable to estimate how much charges they have put on my account as i was trying to claim from 2001-2004. They have sent me a few months worth of statements from 2004 but these have no charges on as i had an arrangemnt with Barclaycard to pay the total debt off and the statements just show my final few payments and paying off the balance.

Any advise?

They are being a pain and they are digging in their heels over the mf issue untill the IC give them the kick in the pants the only it seems thing to do is:
Write to them again stating the 40 day time limit and if they over run this send this to the Information Comissioner http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...n-act-non.html

Then you could follow it up with court action.
