Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am fairly new to all of this, I currently have an current account with alliance and leicester since july 05. Anyway since that time I have nearly reached £1000 in bank charges. I would like to start a claim but I am concerned, reason being is that I have a £600 overdraft wgich unfortunately I have to use each month due to the lack of funds. so if a+l try to close my account on the basis of a claim I would not have £600 to clear the overdraft. Also due to my credit score not being the best, I am als concerned I may not be accepted for a current account elsewhere. any ideas/advice please?
