The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Woolwich have agreed my defaults were incorrectly issued and have agreed to remove them
1) do i write to the credit files ompanys to advise them
2) i heard that the credit file companies will reissue information to companies that had credit searched me recently, anyone have anymore info onthis or do i just write to the companies?
No, there is nothing you can do except wait for the various firms to advise their agencies, as they will not take your contact as proof the firms have agreed to remove it.
I'm not aware of firms being 'resissued' with information, it is a transaction-based service from the CRA's so only if a firm requests the information again will the new information show up during a subsequent search (or not, as the case may be!).
Hi Carina. As i found out today from experian, even when a company agrees to remove an entry it is usualy only removed the next time that the company updates the CRA files which is usualy the begining of the month. A nice man from experian told me . As for the info being distributed to the companies that have recently searched you. Usualy if the removal was an error they do notify them.
