Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Have disputed my defaults with Woolwich as i truely believed they were wrongly issued and only found out they existed when i recieved a copy of my credit file.
Received a letter today saying that they cannot produce the original documents due to the time span since the account was opened and therefore as a measure of good will they will remove the defaults. (they were due off next year anyhow)
My question is this: Shall i write to the credit ref agencys and enclose a copy of the letter so that they are aware this will be happening. Also, i applied for a credit card last month and got declined, so i aplied for another and got declined, strange i thought! Now my defaults are being removed i am sure i have read somewhere that if i write to the credit reference agencys i can request they resend my updated details to the creditors i have applied to recently? Does anyone know more informaion on this please?
Sorry if this is a duplicate post i have done some searching on here and found nothing which makes me wonder if i dreamt this!
