Claim on my mortgage 6 or 12 years?

Hi I have just read, but do not know if it is correct that claiming from a mortgage icon

company the claim can go back 12 years insted of just the 6.
Could anyone let me know if this is right :? .

You can claim 12 years if the charge was added to the secured debt - ie if charges were added to the overall secured amount and 6 years icon

for ERC's - have a look in the mortgages forum - there are quite a few claims at different stages.
