Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I recently had a cryotherapy treatment which is a cold therapy treatment where the skin is chilled .

I bought a set of 4 as I'd had the treatment elsewhere with no issue.

After my first treatment with this new salon my skin was red and sore and painfully unpleasant.

I sought out a pharmacist the next day as it was a Sunday.

After this I didn't want to use the remainder of my 3 sessions as it had left me sore my skin was an odd texture and clearly I'd had a reaction.

I didn't want to be refunded for the one I had used just refunded for the other 3 I would not.

The salon will not refund me, they've made every excuse.

I've had to send them pictures

they tell me it isn't a cold burn and I know nothing about it so shouldn't have treated it.

As an aside it felt a lot better after the pharmacists treatment.

My issue isn't my treating it's the fact my skin is very sore and I don't want to proceed as it seems foolish to continue with a treatment which I know my body is having a bad reaction to how they do it.

I've had the treatment before and never had this.

They're saying it's my fault,

that there's nothing wrong with their treatment,

and being quite aggressive about it.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable surely they can't treat me when I've had a reaction It's at least £150 they owe me.

I feel like I'm not asking for too much here.

They're not out anything I haven't taken anything from them.

Can anyone help, I've been trying to get this resulted since Sunday.

how do you settle your paypal account???

it comes out of your bank account because your debit card is its payment source.

go do a chargeback to your bank for the sum.

or start a dispute with paypal.

cold burns vary, as do hot burns.

Can you explain more about the treatment you underwent so we have a better understanding and can then offer advice tailored to your problem rather than a general response.

I used to work with cryogenic liquids for 30 plus years in a science field and am worried that people who have no real experience offer treatments/therapy so want to know what they do
