Default FAO: Anyone that's received charges back from HSBC

Do HSBCicon continue to apply excessive charges to your account once you've claimed your charges back, whether it be via court or settlement?

    Regards,

HSBCicon and Me - I am just about to launch a biggie claim for £3.5K - but in the meantime I managed to get 'charges pending' refunded (after they had been applied)

I think in the main HSBC are proving a little tougher than the rest, but they ARE cracking...

    Good luck.

I've been thinking about this today and I assume they would continue to charge you excessively. They never admit to the charges being unlawfull, which reducing the amount of charges for anyone who has had a sucessfull claim would be giving out the message that they realise it's unlawfull.

I received £180 goodwill paymenticon from HSBC Credit card two weeks ago after sending them a lbaicon for £81. So gained on that one. I have claimed £3279 on my HSBC current account, this is now in Northampton court and should be seen in 28 days.

They will almost certainly continue. I'll be interested to see how they react to Spiceskull's request not to charge in the future.

I suspect the end result will be that your account is closed if you continue to take action against them.
