Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I had a Natwest credit card for a number of years and said card was defaulted earlier this year, prior to me finding out about any of the info on this site of course.
Is there a different procedure I need to go through or a different letter I need to send to the bank in order to request all off my statements??
The procedure is the same please have a look in the FAQs and step by step guide to see the extra few steps you need to take to get the default removed.
It was not my intention to waste anyones time, I looked at the FAQ's and although I am aware I can still claim back the charges with the same procedure, obviously accessing closed accounts is not the same as active once. Hence my question.
No apology needed and i didn't think you were wasting time you don't need to do anything different if it is a closed account, I didn't see this mentioned only the default. Send off the SAR and off you go.
