Hi there

my wife is with One Call Direct and her policy would renew on June 1st,

we have just come back from holiday and she notice they have taken the renewal payment already and we have found a letter from them saying they will take payment up to 5 days before the renewal date,

is this legal?

It seems odd to me they can take it before the old policy finishes.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

yes as cover must continue by law

they are allowed to do this.

however

its a bit cheeky if you've not actually told them you ARE renewing

i'd go elsewhere

onecall are not cheep!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

they are also the most uunhelpful insurance co going and registered in Malta. shoudl you need to complain about them. When Brexit is finalised they will disappear as they wont want to pay their fees for access to the UK markets
