Question Any point in me starting?

I got myself into real problems with Barclaycard, so there must have been charges in the past, but as I paid off the full amount in or around March 2004, as there was no intention of me using the card again (and I don't think BC wanted me to either), after keeping my final statements for a year I shredded them.
So, do I have any chance of seeing my statements for a S.A.R., or am I just chucking away £10 I can ill afford?
Really want to start a fight, but need to know I have a chance of winning.

    Hello Didge and welcome,

If you fee lthere is charges on this account then it is wel lworth investing the £10 in a SARicon so you can reclaim your money. Have a good read of the FAQ and Barclaycard forum.

    Good Luck

Trouble is that the £10 will get you the statements from 2004 onwards. It is proving a pain to get the full six years.

Yes they are a pain - butthey do send out a computer printout with charges on it. But to successfully claim then the SARicon has to be sent.

    Hi Gizmo111,

I sent the SARicon and £10 but all I got back was copy stats printouts going back to May 2004. How did you get the rest from them?

So do you get some clue as to charges before 2004 on this computer printout?
Because I was thinking I would get absolutely nothing for my SARicon, but if I do get some clue of charges before 2004 then I'll go for it.
