Hi,

I was caught by police team with speed gun yesterday with 45 mph in zone with 30 mph limit.

On the road there are not camera signs.

What happening next? How many points and fine I'll get?

My licence is clear in the last 10 years.

Thanks

You will receive a NIP (notice of intended prosecution) through the post, within 14 days.

It will be addressed to the registered keeper of the car,

asking him/her to identify the driver at the time of the offence.

You fill it in, and state whether or not you want to take it to court or accept 3 points and pay a £60 fine (the latter I recommend).

You will have to send your license away to be endorsed.

Might be £100 now as the law recently changed

Don't forget the new penalty levels if you decide to not take an eFPN (3 points and a £100 (not £60) fine) if it's offered.

45 in a 30 would make it 'Band B'. Which could be a fine of up to 100% of your weekly income and 4 (not 3) penalty points or a disqualification from driving for up to 28 days.

Please note that my posts are my opinion only and should not be taken as any kind of legal advice.
In fact, they're probably just waffling and can be quite safely and completely ignored as you wish.

Were you stopped for the offence at the time? Please be aware that the Police are now training civilians to speed watch their communities. It may have been one of these.

If I have been of any help, please click on my star and leave a note to let me know, thank you.

If you were stopped at the time you will not receive a NIP.

The next thing you should get is a conditional offer of a Fixed Penalty (£100 and three points).

This is usually offered for speeds up to 49mph in a 30mph limit.

Accept that because the alternative (going to court and pleading guilty) will cost you considerably more.
